to serve.
The church is not a program to attend but a body to belong to. Every member has gifts the body needs. Here is how the work of the church is organized, and how to plug in.
Fellowship lunch
- Worship and Praise
- Leads the congregation in song on Sundays: vocalists and musicians.
- Intercessory Prayer
- Meets on Sunday mornings before classes to pray for the church, its people and its work.
- Member Care
- Meals for new parents and the recovering, visits, and practical help when a household needs the body.
- Hospitality
- Welcoming visitors and members on a Sunday, following up with people who are new, and lending a hand wherever hospitality is needed.
- Sunday Fellowship
- The Sunday lunch, every week of the year. Six church groups take turns cooking and serving, and the team caters the Sundays in between.
- Special Events
- The retreat, the fall festival, and the gatherings that fill the rest of the year, including the meal when the event calls for one.
- Media and IT
- Sound on a Sunday, the livestream, the website, photography, and the tools that carry the church's communication.
Each team has a coordinator. Their names and how to reach them are in the weekly bulletin, found in the members area, or ask any pastor or deacon on a Sunday.
Four committees oversee the church's work under the Session: Finance, Missions, Education, and Facilities. Each is chaired by the deacon over that area. To learn more or to serve on one, speak with that deacon; the deacons are listed on the leadership page.
Alongside Sunday classes, discipleship happens in small groups and one-on-one through Life-on-Life Missional Discipleship, overseen by Pastor Eddie. The aim is not information but formation: truth, equipping, accountability, mission and supplication, lived person to person.
We also gather on Wednesday evenings for prayer. If you want to join a small group or the prayer meeting, speak with a pastor on Sunday or contact the church office.

Serving starts with worshipping together.
Come on Sunday, stay for lunch, and tell a pastor or any member what you love to do. There is a place for it here.
